Critical Facilities Maintenance Manager
As the Critical Facilities Maintenance (CFM) Manager you will be based at our Hemel Hempstead site, providing engineering services and guidance on property matters affecting the on-going management and development of the critical and non-critical infrastructure within the Data Center facilities. As part of this you will be instrumental in the planning, management and implementation of the delivery of FM services to ensure operational performance is maintained at all times, to the highest possible standards. You will ultimately be responsible for the 24/7 facility maintenance engineers and administrative support staff at that site.
What you will do
- Be responsible for the upkeep of the data center facility and maintenance of the critical infrastructure.
- Work closely with site coordinator to ensure all critical/noncritical maintenance is carried out to business requirements
- Lead the 24/7 facilities engineering team
- Ensure best practices are adhered to throughout the site
- Run regular scenario drills to ensure the site team is best prepared for incidents and Business Continuity
- Work closely with your peers to ensure NTT standards are implemented and adhered to across site
- Maintain high standards of Health and Safety and ensure all Safe Systems of Work processes are adhered to.
- Take the lead role in Event and Incident response
- Work to ensure initial incident reports are completed and shared with customer
- Maintain a proactive involvement in the on-going technical evaluation of all plant and equipment, and provide suggestions of improvements where appropriate
What we are looking for
- Experience in facilities, operations and/or engineering, preferably in a critical environment
- Proven track record of managing a team
- Working knowledge and understanding of engineering operations within Critical Environments
- Creating and developing SOP/MOP and EOP documentation
- Demonstrable experience in dealing with incident management and post-incident reporting.
- Electrical HV & LV AP
- IOSH – Managing Safely or equivalent
- A calm yet responsive approach to incidents and post incident reporting
- Ability to embrace change and new processes and to be able to implement them within the team
- Excellent attitude to service delivery and cultivating a client first approach
- To undergo full security checks to BS7858:2019
