Technical Post-Sales Consultant (m/f/d)
As our Technical Post-Sales Consultant (m/f/d), you will be joining our Technical Pre-Sales team which is part of Sales and Commercial Management function. You will be supporting the post-sales opportunities that are driven by existing clients managed by our Client Success Management (CSM) team. Client opportunities that have moved into the Client Delivery Management (CDM) team may also require your support. Assisting these teams with tailored client solutions, providing subject matter expertise, and acting as the owner of the technical requirements.
The role will be based in Frankfurt, is full time and hybrid.
What you will do
- Lead the technical discussions with both existing clients, providing technical expertise for their new requirements in a consultative, clear, and professional manner
- Lead the technical discussions with CSM or CDM in developing and finalizing technically accurate, commercially attractive, and tailor-made installation and service solutions
- Review and provide feedback on the technical assessment and qualification of client requirements as well as the identification of deviations from the standard reference design (which should be fully understood) and verification of the feasibility of the proposed solution
- Provide input on technical elements of contractual requirements and support CSM and or CDM with their qualified and timely handover to the CDM or Technical Operations in-life team
- Provide a point of escalation for internal department teams facing complex technical challenges
- Performs special projects related to the Client Implementation Services (CIS) team as assigned by management
- Support the Product team to provide input and qualified feedback for continuous improvement of the NTT service portfolio
- Support the CSM team with site tours, customer meetings and presentations, as necessary
- Build up and maintain relationships with the key stakeholders in other internal departments
- Guides conversations to remove blockers and encourage collaboration across teams
What we are looking for
- Several years of Engineering experience in Data Center Operations, Sales Engineering, and the Colocation industry
- Proficient with software applications such as AutoCAD, Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint and Salesforce
- Working knowledge in developing a bill of materials and scope of work to meet client infrastructure deployment requirements
- Maintains familiarity with competitive offerings to effectively position products and solutions in a competitive environment
- Good understanding of modern data centres and IT client data centre requirements
- Able to work effectively in a cross-functional multi-site team environment
- Able to manage stress in a fast-paced environment effectively
- Excellent problem solver and creative thinker
- Engages clients to extract critical technical and business drivers that may position client deliverables
- A current, valid Government issued driver's license
