Infrastructure Asset Specialist (m/f/d)
As our Infrastructure Asset Specialist you will be joining our expanding Infrastructure Asset Management team in the EMEA-Region. Together with your colleagues you will be in charge of the Asset Management and life cycle functions. You will be respsonsible for the governance, implementation, updating and direction accross our data centers inclusive of managing all engineering and fabric asset types within in our CAFM system. Your main focus will be our data center sites in the DACH-Region. You will be in full-time based in Frankfurt am Main.
Your responsibilities
- To control and manage the day to day reporting activities and structure within the NTT CAFM / CMMS system and processes across all NTT GDC EMEA clusters
- Identify and manage risks associated with NTT’s Asset Management and Life Cycle processes and procedures
- Drive a collaborative approach to Asset Management through the NTT Asset Management Community
- To support and drive a consistent implementation of time-based and corrective maintenance processes within the new CAFM/CMMS support system
- Manage key stakeholders’ expectations
- Act as a resource to the GDC EMEA Operations Central Engineering team to support Data Center Deliver of new construction or infrastructure projects
- To carry out regular tours of the regional operational sites to inspect local conformance to group maintenance, asset management and life cycle guidelines either remotely or in person
- To demonstrate success by driving and supporting clean asset data across all of EMEA GDC sites
- Demonstrate successful collaboration by managing the NTT GDC EMEA Asset Management Community
- By the ability to provide gap analysis metrics across all NTT GDC EMEA sites within regular reporting formats
- Work with the NTT GDC EMEA Regional and Central Engineering teams to define and implement a set of measurable asset management key performance indicators (KPI)
- The ability to demonstrates how effectively assets are being managed by NTT GDC EMEA Regional Operations teams
- Provides regular CAPEX reporting functionalities in a variety of differing forms for all Data Center functions
- Provide regular reporting on performance against asset management KPIs
- Provide support and guidance on how to rectify and improve any reported non-conformance or performance issue related to Asset Management and Life Cycle profiling, together with all levels of compliance and SLA/KPI reporting functions across the EMEA region
- They will have the ability to breaks down problems into smaller components, understands underlying issues, can simplify and process complex issues, understands the difference between critical details and unimportant facts appropriate and escalate when required with strong input and guidance around options / recommendations
- They will from time to time instruct other personnel, primarily the Asset Champions in the operation of the CAFM/CMMS Asset system
- They will apply clear/consistent performance standards to handle performance problems decisively and objectively and communicate in a manner that is direct but tactful and aids improve performance
- They will maintain a knowledge of the industry and regulatory rules, requirements, and developments to ensure ongoing best practice
Your profile
- Technical degree
- Experience in working in an environment of the critical infrastructure or complex industrial environments or substantial technical interest
- Demonstrable experience of applying the basic principles of the ISO 55000 series of Asset Management standards
- Experience of managing large complex Asset Management Systems
- Ability to teach and guide stakeholders through asset change and variance processes
- Ability to prepare, present and summarise information to stakeholders
- Proficient skills in the use of excel for analysis
- Business fluency in German and fluency in English
