Project Manager - Data Center Services

As our new Project Manager you will be supporting the Data Center Services division in managing, delivering and commissioning Client Fit out projects in the Data Center white space.


Your Responsibilities

  • Project delivery and management of all client fit out works (in the white space) including suite fit out, cages and smaller and hoc jobs across both the hyperscale and enterprise sectors
  • Provide cost estimations for fit out works to support bid activity
  • Liaise and manage multiple sub-contractors to deliver projects to a high standard, within scope, on time and to budget
  • Ensure all projects are planned and coordinated with Site Operations in line with standard operating procedures
  • Collaborate with other technical departments with respect to design, cost and drawing requirements
  • Ensure all work carried out is in line with company Health & Safety policies with no exceptions
  • Ensure quality of work carried out by sub-contractors is to the technical standards set by the company
  • Provide regular status updates and project reviews to Technical Operations and other stakeholders
  • Where necessary, provide project plans to support the delivery and communication of large, complex projects
  • Ensure sub-contractor performance is captured and fed into the supplier management function
  • Ensure smooth handover of delivery ensuring any on-going snagging activities are managed through to resolution


Your Profile

  • Demonstrable experience in delivering successful projects in the Data Center space
  • Good level of English language (both written and verbal)
  • Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in Data Center White Space Fit Outs
  • Has a sound knowledge of Data Center M&E infrastructure
  • PRINCE II/PMP certification or similar
  • Willing to travel domestically (East London and South East) or internationally where required
  • Possess a clean full driving licence valid for use in the UK
  • Undergo full security checks to BS7858:2019 plus any additional security vetting as required for the needs of the business
