Project Site Supervisor (in-Life)

As a Project Site Supervisor you will support our internal Data Center Services division in overseeing project activities across multiple sites in the United Kingdom, to ensure contractors are carrying out work in a safe and productive manner in order to achieve project completions in line with our clients’ expectations. Our sites are primarely based in the area of Hemel-Hempstead and Greater London (Link to our sites). You will reporting to the Project Delivery Principle.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Provide sub-contractor supervision and support to all Project Managers across multiple concurrent work streams, including site inductions
  • Assist the Project Manager in monitoring progress against the project programme and ensure successful project delivery
  • Stakeholdermanagement with external (e.g. subcontractors) and internal (e.g. Project Manager, Site Management)
  • Implement and complete the Method of procedure documents (MOP’s) ensuring the work follows the approved procedures
  • Risk Assessments: Review & understand contractor Risk Assessments & Method Statements and carry out dynamic risk assessments
  • Ensure work carried out is aligned with company policies (e.g. Health & Safety) and incidents are followed up.
  • Complete and issue update reporting where required
  • Secure quality assurance for the entire project

 

Your profile

  • Several years’ experience of sub-contractor supervision in industry
  • Professional experiences within the industry of critical infrastructure such as Energy & Utilities, Telecommunication, Public Health, Industrial Plant Construction or preferred in the Data Center Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) infrastructure 
  • Technical background, with preferred understanding or hands-on experience working in Data Centers or high availability/ critical infrastructure environments
  • Good working knowledge and practical experience of Health & Safety at work regulations & requirements
  • Proficient level of English language (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to liaise with clients and stakeholders at all levels
  • Hold a valid SMSTS Card; Hold a valid CSCS Card. (Desirable)
  • Possess a clean UK driving licence and be willing to travel domestically as required
  • Undergo full security checks to BS7858:2019
