IT Data Center Support Engineer
As our IT Data Center Support Engineer, you will provide support and assistance to internal and external staff at all locations, as well as customers, with requests and incident relating to the services provided by IT.
Your responsibilities
- Participation in the hotline and ensuring the availability of the hotline
- Contact person for incidents and service requests
- Creating, processing, tracking and closing tickets in the ITSM tool
- Elimination of incidents (first level support) and processing of requests for all services provided by IT
- Passing on more in-depth requests to the IT specialist teams
- Fault identification, analysis and elimination in coordination with Second Level Support
- Installation, preparation and handover of devices (PCs, smartphones,...)
- Installation of IT equipment and its cabling at workstations
- Suggesting and documenting approaches to avoid the causes of malfunctions
- Participation in on-call duty
Your profile
- Completed vocational training in the field of IT or comparable qualification
- Several years of broad professional experience in IT
- Very good knowledge of ITIL
- Several years of experience in incident management
- Several years of experience in first level support
- Very good knowledge of hardware (PCs, notebooks, peripherals and accessories)
- Very good knowledge of standard office applications (especially MS Windows, MS Office)
- Very good knowledge of standard office devices (esp. smartphones, printers)
