Senior Business Analyst (m/f/d)
As our Senior Business Analyst (m/f/d), you will be a member of the NTT GDC EMEA Sales Planning and Operations team. You will be working in close interaction with the Sales and Commercial department, but also as a business partner for key players within NTT GDC EMEA.
The role will be based in Frankfurt, is full time and hybrid.
What will you do?
Data Analytics
- Manage reporting requirements including but not limited to:
- Work to remove duplication of effort and ensure we are referring to consistent data sources, leveraging central dashboards and reports where possible
- Work with Sales Planning and Operations Director to ensure that our requirements in terms of data model/architecture are aligned to other NTT GDC EMEA reporting initiatives
- Manage reporting activities for purposes such as EMT, MMR, capacity/inventory reporting
- Ensure connections between different data areas are realized to provide insight beyond mere data reporting; example: effectiveness of sales programs in view of business case assumptions
Sales Operations Excellence
- Drive Salesforce hygiene, e.g. ensure Salesforce users are following defined best practices and where there is lack of adoption, or field/process push-back or no compliance, ensure proper corrective actions and communication
- Closely monitor “upside/committed” deals and ensure deals progress through booking process, ensuring the Sales Planning and Operations Director is kept abreast of any issue as they arise
- Program management
- Optimization initiatives (continuous improvement)
- Transformational initiatives with mid-long-term impact(s)
Measure for success
- Maturity increase of Salesforce implementation, e.g. data accuracy driven by users and overall feature enhancement
- Improvement of data accuracy in Sales/Commercial, e.g. in forecasting, and with adjacent business units, e.g. aligned and complete information along capacity process
- Developing and bringing to life a vision for a well-connected analytics approach that can scale
What are we looking for?
- Master’s degree or equivalent in business administration, computer science or a related field is desirable
- Five years of IT industry experience are desirable, preferably in the data center industry
- Proven experience with the development and implementation of CRM tool standards, variable compensation, pipeline management, revenue analysis and forecasting, and reporting both for operational purposes and to senior management
- Advanced level in Excel and PowerPoint required. Knowledge of BI tools, languages used in analytics and data management best practices is considered an advantage
- Capability to combine an understanding of the business’ bigger picture with a concise attention to detail
- Results driven mindset
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong team player with ability to work cross culturally within EMEA and across business units
- Fluency in German and English, further language skills are considered beneficial
