Electrical Engineer (m/f/d)
The Electrical Engineer (m/f/d) will be supporting in a wider team our dedictacted Electrical Engineering team of our Central Engineering which is supporting our Data Center Sites in the DACH-Region. As Subject Matter Expert (SME) you will be asked by our data center operations teams and able to break down, analyse (including Root-Cause-Analyse (RCA)) of different technical complexities being able to provide guidance and/or recommendations for problem solving. You will also be responsible in conducting planned and ad-hoc reviews concerning the correct implementation of our standards. You will be working with internal (e.g. design department) and external (sub-contractors, OEMs) stakeholders. This hybrid position is full-time, permanent and will reporting to the Teamlead DACH.
What you will do
- Support in definition, implementation of our standards and continuous review of their implementation (e.g. effectiveness of maintenance, optimization mesurements)
- Support the regional teams in the preparation of energy business cases for infrastructure exchanges
- Conduct regular and ad-hoc site visits to verify compliance with company policies and best practices on site
- Collaborate, frequent review and further development of comissioning procedures including reviewing of subcontractors
- Aggregate information of lessons-learned and provide information to different stakeholdergroups (e.g. operations, design)
- Close collaboration with our design team to review upcoming designs and constructions projectes (e.g. evaluation of specifications and design documents)
- Review of electrical information such as Arc Flash, Short circuit, Selectivity, load and cable caluclations etc. using in depth knowledge to ensure accuracy
What we are looking for
- University degree in electrical engineering
- Several years of experience in working a mission critical environment, preferably in larger organizations
- Expertise in understanding of the principles of operations and maintenance management
- Profund expertise in short circuit and arc fault calculations
- Ideally Experience of electrical design software such as SKM and/or ETAP
- Experienced in working in a multicultural environment
- Knowledge of the Root Cause Analysis Management Framework is highly desired
- Business fluency in English and German
- Excellent relationship building and communication skills
- Drivers license class B and willingness to travel (up to 20%)
