Senior Real Estate Transaction Manager (m/f/d)
NTT operates a world-class network of data centres across the globe. The role of the Real Estate Transaction Manager (m/f/d) is to execute the long-term expansion strategy of the business to originate, assess, negotiate and transact land acquisition opportunities in EMEA.
As our Senior Real Estate Transaction Manager (m/f/d) you will be a key part of the NTT EMEA Expansion Team. You will operate on both strategic and tactical levels and will be responsible for acquisitions to support the expansion of the EMEA portfolio.
Your responsibilities will include country or city level market strategy, origination, site acquisition, due diligence, site development, permitting, easements, strategic partnering with developers, investors and other stakeholders, negotiation of transaction documents and related functions for large, complex projects including internal approvals.
You will manage the full range of transaction management functions and lead internal and outsourced teams in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of ambiguity.
Your responsibilities
- Manage a high-volume deal flow of large, complex green and brownfield acquisition opportunities
- Grow and cultivate a network of brokers and advisers to support origination activities
- Innovate and execute processes and tools to ensure the complete cycle from site search through deal execution is completed consistently and predictably at a fast pace
- Create, innovate and implement a relevant system of metrics to plan, manage, measure and evaluate performance pertaining to the transaction process
- Effectively communicate expectations, requirements and status of deals to key business partners – both internal and external
- Own the preparation and presentation of business cases to internal stakeholders
- Manage an ever-changing variety of internal initiatives and projects
- Closely collaborate with NTT design, construction, operations, legal, finance, treasury, sales groups to deliver highly successful projects
- Travel throughout EMEA up to 25%
Your profile
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate transactions directly for or on behalf of a principal real estate investor or developer.
- 5+ years of experience in Project management experience from due diligence, design, construction and sales phases
- In depth knowledge of commercial real estate transactions and related components such as site selection, construction pricing, development, permitting, due diligence and leasing
- Experience negotiating sale and purchase agreements and commercial leases
- Experience and competence utilizing commercial real estate software platforms
- Ability to manage multiple projects for multiple stakeholders at the same time
- Ability to work independently while maintaining all deadlines and critical date obligations
- Excellent analytical skills and business acumen
- Outstanding negotiation skills
- Excellent and inherent competency with time management and organization
- Excellent ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and with proper professionalism
- Excellent ability to build trust among colleagues and service partners
