Project Manager Electrical (m/f/d)

As Project Manager Electrical (m/f/d) you will work in the QA&QC team based in Germany, which is part of the Major Project Assurance department, to ensure that major construction projects are executed according to our electrical standards. In addition to helping improve those standards, you will ensure that local project teams are observing those standards and you will audit project teams to reinforce the use of our standards.


Your responsibilities

  • Continue the development of QA & QC standards in your discipline
  • Review the quality of work in your discipline in conjunction with the site quality and construction teams
  • Carry out audits on major projects routinely to determine any gaps between standards and practice, determine remediation required, and support the project teams in achieving improved performance
  • Report on QA & QC status for your discipline
  • Participate in the preparation for the control of, and support during, commissioning and test phases, acceptance and handover in compliance with quality specifications
  • Train project staff on the QA & QC standards for your discipline
  • Support the remediation of defects before and after acceptance
  • Support Lean Construction Management (LCM) for each major project
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Design & Engineering and Technical Operations
  • Participate in cost estimation, participate in procurement, review tender documents and participate in the awarding of contracts
  • Participate in design reviews 
  • Auditing against established standards
  • Management of staff and external contractors


Your profile

  • Have successfully completed engineering studies (university or technical college)
  • Have significant experience in construction projects and design
  • Have an in-depth knowledge of, and be a specialist in, your discipline
  • Be highly experienced in quality assurance and control
  • Be mobile and be willing to travel for cross-site project assignments (as a service of the Central Unit) at home and abroad
  • Be a strong communicator
  • Possess a clean full driving licence
  • Be fluent in German in English, both spoken and written
