Programme Manager ICT & Systems (m/f/d)
As our Programme Manager ICT & Systems (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the overseeing & management of facility and network infrastructure systems, including but not limited to OSP, ISP, Controls (EPMS/BMS), systems software and general cabling infrastructure.
Forming an integral member of the NTT Central Construction Management team having an overarching view on live projects, directing and providing SME guidance with General Contractors and Vendors on site where required. You will cover the EMEA region and support the creation of standardised systems controls requirements throughout the region.
Your Responsibilities
- Accountable for ensuring the physical installation of ICT & Systems on our DC Build projects are predictable, consistent and compliant with GDC EMEA standards and contracted designs
- Co-ordination and acceptance of Site ICT QA/QC procedures and procuress with General/Prime Contractors, internally with NTT GDC EMEA ICT and Network teams and externally with our respective client teams
- Provide region wide ICT and Systems installation oversight and support to the Data Centre Development Construction Teams and Vendors
- Provide constructability and SME input during the Pre-Construction phase to support Master Schedule, design and tender development, including but not limited to; OSP infra phasing, Telephony dependencies and client requirements, Early Access and Room Ready reqts, CX and Security ICT dependencies
- Support Project Kick Offs and documentation of detailed ICT and Systems installation schedules, Interfaces and NTT GDC deliverables to enable same at a project and programmatic level
- Responsible for structuring First of Kind/Benchmark protocols on site, driving consistency in ICT, Systems and Telephony implementation, standards and reporting across the region
- Define and Implement ICT installation and acceptance guidelines and checklists for regional implementation, tailoring to Client specific requirements where applicable
- Define System interfaces, including but not limited to ICT, Security and Telephony and work with NTT GDC stakeholders to enable
- Provide SME support for troubleshooting ICT amd Systems issues during construction, CX and handover phases
- Provide SME support for GDC EMEA Client interfaces and/or scope implementation during the bid, construction and handover phases respectively
- Manage project specific delays and activities in a proactive manner with affective problem solving and coordination management to mitigate where possible time and cost impacts while maintaining safety and quality expectations
- Review and input into project schedules as aligned to project and programme requirements inc. maintaining NTT standards throughout delivery
- Support the tendering and procurement of key project and programme elements within the DCD team
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical / controls / automation engineering, or related field, Relevant professional certifications
- Extensive experience in the delivery and management of critical infrastructure facilities, a subject matter expert in policies, procedure, regulations, and legislation in area of specialism
- A motivated team member with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, key initiatives, and deadlines simultaneously
- Ability to work with peers in a cross-functional and collaborative working environment that can influence from the initial project stages through design and into implementation to deliver on key projects and programmes
- High personal and professional standard to deliver a high-quality product with a safety mindset
- Detail and technical orientated professional that displays strong organization and delivery skills
- Ability to dynamically manage problem-solving, critical thinking and analytical skills both in planning and delivery stages of a project / programme
- Knowledge of Environment, Health and Safety and related regulations associated with construction projects
- Demonstrate proven mission critical, preferably Data Centre, construction experience
- Possess excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to navigate complex and high-pressure environments
- Have experience in operating at a management level and ability to present to senior leadership both internally and with our external stakeholder forums
- Have experience in remotely supporting and delivering successful outputs from consultant and project teams
- Excellent project delivery experience and skillset, with the ability to operate within a multi-cultural environment
