IT Security Services Engineer (m/f/d)

As our IT Security Services Engineer (m/f/d) you'll effectively ensure best in class IT security level and deliver stable and efficient security systems at GDC EMEA. The incumbent shall deliver appropriate IT security levels on all respective systems to the business and its clients to securely support DC Operations, Security Management and Data Center Delivery.

The position shall continuously monitor and challenge all IT security measures to identify appropriate improvements timely.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Management of the (but not limited to) areas Endpoint Protection, Firewall, VPN, Vulnerability Scanner, Penetration Testing, Monitoring, SIEM
  • Support the further development of the existing IT security systems and measures
  • Acting IT business partner for DC Operations, Security Management and Data Center Delivery
  • Consult the business in all areas of IT security systems and measures
  • Evaluation, coordination, and processing of change requests including demand management in those areas
  • Acting Project Manager within own area for bigger projects
  • Strong collaboration with Procurement Team to identify cost efficiency opportunities

 

Your profile

  • Bachelor or vocational training with a focus on computer science or equivalent work experience
  • 3 or more years of professional experience in the area of security systems
  • Proficient German and English language skills verbal and writing
  • Very good knowledge and working experiences in the area of IT security
  • Ability to quickly tap into and master new areas of responsibility
  • Enforcement and persuasiveness
  • High commitment and willingness to travel (max. 10%)
  • Integrative and independent work style, self-motivation, and team spirit
  • Good communication and presentation skills
