IT Inhouse Consultant Business Intelligence & Data Exchange (m/f/d) (MS SQL, Talend)

As IT Inhouse Consultant Business Intelligence & Data Exchange (m/f/d) you support the business by developing and maintaining the GDC EMEA data warehouse and the data exchange and staging platforms. You will be creating business value ensuring productive integration between various IT systems supporting the business including Technical Operations. 

 

Your responsibilities

  • Ensure availability and continuous maintenance of the NTT GDC EMEA BI system landscape (MS SQL Server, SSAS, SSRS, Talend Open Studio, Power BI) by driving the implemented ITIL processes for access, incident, change & problem management
  • Support the business with application consulting (configuration, best practices, user guidance)
  • Streamline the application management processes by permanent enhancements
  • Get the best out of the IT investments by organization and conduction of trainings 
  • Be the direct contact partner of our external service providers supporting Datawarehouse and Integrations
  • Enhance the stability and reliability of the software management by creating high quality documentation
  • Manage (sub-) projects to build new software components including the transition to operation.
  • Contribute to the IT architecture management within NTT GDC EMEA

 

Your profile

  • Bachelor or Master or comparable education in business informatics, business administration or in a technical course of study 
  • Experience in the management of IT systems (MS SQL Server, MS Power BI)
  • Good knowledge of ERP and Bl systems (SAP Landscape)
  • Confidence in the use of common IT technologies and software development methods (Azure DevOps, C#, SQL)
  • Very good competence of DBMS, especially MS SQL Server
  • Familiarity with data exchange frameworks (SAP PI/PO, Informatica), ideally knowledge of Talend Open Studio
  • Experience in requirement and process analysis 
  • Experience in project management (classic and agile)
  • Good command of German and English, both written and spoken
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to prioritize
  • Willingness to learn new technologies
  • Independent, reliable, and analytical way of working
