HR Operations Manager EMEA (f/m/d)

As our new HR Operations EMEA Manager you will be heading up our HR Services Teams in the UK as well as Germany. You will be reporting into the Senior Vice President Legal, Governance & Human Resources. The Position will be based in either Hemel Hempstead (UK) or Frankfurt (DE).


Your Responsibilities


  • Management responsibility for merged HR EMEA Service team, based partly in the UK and partly in Germany.  The team is supporting appr. 800 employees in 15 locations across Europe. 
  • Detailed process analysis of previously separated EMEA HR Service Teams in the UK and rest of Europe (DACH, NL, Spain, Lux); as well as the successful consolidation and improvement of all processes to ensure successful post-merger integration with sustainable and standardized processes.
  • Develop, plan and implement standardized EMEA wide HR processes, documents and reports to improve operational performance and accuracy of the organization (for existing and new locations as well)
  • Design, develop and deploy company’s EMEA wide HR policies
  • Ensure and improve HR operations excellence
  • Development of a reliable HR reporting as well as ensure the quality and reliability of data and analyses for EMEA 
  • Act as SAP Success Factors (SAP SF) and Workday Key User and technical expert as central contact for Group HR and EMEA IT 
  • Monitor and maintain all HR systems (including payroll) and interfaces
  • Design, deploy and track (quality) goals and objectives for the HR Service team
  • Ensure cost transparency, efficiency and on time reporting for HR operations (e.g. HR ticket system)
  • Monitor and evaluate key HR KPIs and take actions for improvement
  • Make HR Services “audit proof” (e.g. established processes can be audited externally)
  • Related project work (e.g. new locations/countries)


Your Profile

•    Exceptional team management and organizational skills
•    Line management experience of HR team in the UK and in Germany 
•    Significant current or recent experience in the UK 
•    Proven track record in UK complex employee relations cases / dispute resolution
•    Operational team experience
•    Project management and delivery experience
•    Prior practical and broad experience as an HR Manager, HR Operations Manager or a similar role
•    Experience of designing and implementing HR processes in an international environment
•    Experience with Data Analytics
•    Excellent decision-making and analytical skills
•    Strong verbal as well as non-verbal communication skills
•    Ability to present to the Senior Management and/or Group
•    Ability to take quick decisions while working in a fast-paced and change environment
•    Master’s degree in Human Resources Management or a relevant field
•    Strong experience with MS Office, ARIS plus SAP SF technical skills as a must
•    Fluent in English and ideally in German; if not fluent in German, C1 is required
•    Regular travels
