Director Sales (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Director Sales who wants to be part of our fast growing business, supporting and driving our growth initatives. In this key role you will be reporting to our Vice President Sales & Commercial. 


Your responsibilities

Main tasks including but not limited to:

  • Acquire new logos and bring existing relationships from the market to enhance sales strategy of NTT GDC EMEA as wholesale provider for the region
  • Be the first and main point of contact for specified existing focus accounts and develop great relationships
  • Strengthening company's brand and increasing market share within the assigned group of clients
  • Manage & expand business with new strategic key accounts
  • Manage and increase sales with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Compose value propositions for complex business opportunities and bring prospect to closure
  • Expectation to know and stay current with all competitors in the assigned market
  • Documentation and maintenance of customer data
  • Active participation in promotional sales activities and events
  • Facilitate teamwork by working closely together with all departments involved across the relevant regions
  • Support of Bid and Project Managers in commercial matters cross-departmental development and expansion of customer contacts
  • Analysis of the customer's product strategy and constantly keep track on account strategies

  • Creativity and motivation in addressing potential customers
  • Willingness to travel if needed
  • Completed higher education (university, university of applied sciences) in the field of business, business engineering, technical business administration, information technology, or a comparable qualification
  • Minimum two years of professional experience relevant to the post (especially data center customer acquisition and certainly of closure in a comparable areas) in sales, in a technology or service company
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and of written and spoken English (German is helpful but not necessary)
  • Full driving license valid for use in the UK
  • To undergo full security checks to BS7858:2019 standard
